We offer online private dance lessons in a variety of latin and ballroom dance styles.

Which Dance Should I Learn for My Online Private Dance Lesson?

Maybe you have your heart set on learning the salsa, want to shake things up with the samba, or perhaps you just want to set a solid foundation with a traditional waltz.

And maybe you're still undecided but you know you just want to "learn how to dance." Don't worry! We can help you with that.

We’re happy to recommend dance styles to you in your quest to learn dance. And in case you were wondering, the final choice is entirely yours!

We offer instruction in the following dances: waltz, foxtrot, argentine tango, rumba, cha cha, jive, east coast swing, west coast swing, hustle, salsa, modern, and freestyle.

We offer both International Standard/Latin Ballroom as well as American Standard/Latin Ballroom instruction.

Online Private Dance Lessons: Policies and Registration

Where are your online private dance lessons held?

We teach our online private dance lessons using the Zoom video conferencing platform. Simply register for your lesson(s) and we'll send you a Zoom meeting link. You'll then join the Zoom meeting at the scheduled time for your lesson.

When are your online private dance lessons held?

We can work with you to create an online private dance lesson plan that works for your schedule. We are based in Eastern Time (New York City) and we’ll do our best to provide online private dance lessons for you no matter where you are located. Please contact us for more information.

Do you offer live online private dance lessons?

Yes! All of our online private dance lessons are presented in a live video format. Live instruction allows us to teach and track your progress in real-time. We’ll be with you every step of the way during your dance instruction.

What equipment do I need for online private dance lessons?

You'll need a digital device (such as a desktop, tablet, or smartphone), an internet connection, and Zoom software. We highly recommend making sure your digital devices and Zoom software are up to date and working properly. You can learn more about Zoom on their website at https://zoom.us/

Can you help me with Zoom?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide one-on-one technical support for Zoom. However, you can learn more about Zoom on their website, https://zoom.us/.

What is your cancellation policy?

Twenty-four (24) hour notice is required for cancellation of any online private dance lesson in order to avoid being charged the full price of the lesson.

What are your lesson expiration dates?

Online private dance lessons have expiration dates as follows:

Single lesson: Expires 4 weeks from date of purchase
5 lessons: Expires 8 weeks from date of purchase

What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds for online private dance lesson packages. All sales are final.

What should I wear for my lesson?

Wear comfortable clothing that will not restrict movement. Layers are suggested. Shoes with leather or other smooth, non-binding soles are best to allow for easy turns. Shoes with "sticky" rubber soles, flip-flops and other loose fitting shoes are not recommended.
